Disney’s third “Tron” film has officially added “Yellowjackets” star Sarah Desjardins to the cast. The movie will be directed by Joachim Rønning (“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales”), from a script by Jack Thorne (“His Dark Materials”) and Jesse Wigutow (“The Prince”). This will be the third addition to the classic Disney film series that started in 1982. The previous installments focused mostly on the game’s world itself. “Tron” (1982) centered around video game designer Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) entering his own digital creation. The sequel “Tron: Legacy” (2010) focused on his son Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund)…

With Jackie Chan voicing Master Splinter, Paul Rudd will play Mondo Gecko, Post Malone will play Ray Fillet, Giancarlo Esposito will play Baxter Stockman, Rose Byrne will…
One of the many legitimate reasons SAG-AFTRA is striking is due to the AMPTP demanding actors allow productions to do ‘full body scans of performers.’ It’s not just the scans, it’s the fact that actors would only be paid a day’s wages to be scanned. Those results would then be the property of the production, “for the rest of eternity,” with the actor never receiving compensation for uses of their likeness. SAG President Fran Drescher and National Executive Director and Chief Negotiator Duncan Crabtree-Ireland addressed the public in a rousing press conference yesterday, announcing the strike. They touched on this scanning…
Production company Optomen (“Johnny vs Amber,” “Kim vs Kanye: The Divorce”) are at it again. The next documentary in their vs. series will be “Gwyneth vs Terry: The Ski Crash Trial” for Discovery+ U.K.. It will focus on Oscar winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s skiing accident trial with retired optometrist Terry Sanders. In 2016, Paltrow and Sanders collided on a slope at a Utah ski resort. When the two tumbled, Sanderson broke four ribs and sustained a concussion. He originally filed a $3.1 million lawsuit against the actress, but the suit was dismissed. He then filed an amended complaint for around…
The “Barbie” movie hype train just keeps gaining momentum. In the film’s latest tease, star Ryan Gosling absolutely nails a music video for power ballad “Just Ken.” The song for the Greta Gerwig-directed film has Gosling belting out “I’m Just Ken.” This single focuses on a lovelorn Ken who is tired of always being second banana to Barbie (Margot Robbie). This leads to him contemplating what his life really means and what it would be like without her. The music video mostly consists of shirtless and crying Gosling singing, spliced in with footage from the movie. “Just Ken” is the…
Professional surfer Sarah Brady has claimed she suffered emotional abuse at the hands of her now ex, Jonah Hill. Brady, who dated actor/director Jonah Hill (“You People”) from 2021 until 2022, posted screenshots of texts allegedly sent to her by Hill. The texts show an alarming amount of controlling behavior, and these images have ignited internet debates about boundaries and weaponizing therapy lingo. While Instagram stories disappear after 24 hours, there is no shortage of screenshots from the post floating around. These messages were all allegedly sent by Hill during his relationship with Brady, while they were in couple’s counselling.…

Studio Ghibli has revealed Hayao Miyazaki’s final film, “How Do You Live?,” will be getting an IMAX release. This will be the first Miyazaki and Ghibli film to be released simultaneously in IMAX, along with a regular theatrical one. This is Miyazaki’s first film in a decade, so saying it is highly anticipated is an understatement. Not to mention it will be his last feature film. Though in 2013, the director said “The Wind Rises” would be his final feature film. A vow he has clearly gone back on for “How Do You Live?.” On top of the history-making IMAX…
The long-gestating third entry into the “28 Days Later” franchise could be titled “28 Years Later.” Franchise creator/writer Alex Garland has finished the script. Director Danny Boyle wants to return, along with stars Cillian Murphy and Imogen Poots. In 2002, the Boyle-directed “28 Days Later” took the world by storm. By 2007, he re-teamed with Garland for the sequel, “28 Weeks Later.” The pair have been talking about adding a third film to their zombie virus-riddled universe for some time. “I resisted it for a long time because there were things about 28 Weeks Later that bugged me” Garland said…
