Most people know icon Lynda Carter for playing Wonder Woman on the hit show of the same name in the 70s. It was a network program that was based off the wildly popular DC Comics series. To kick off Pride month, Carter reminded her fans via Twitter that yes, Wonder Woman absolutely is a queer icon. While the comments were mostly positive and supportive, some homophobia did rear its ugly head. One user said “Wonder Woman IS NOT A SUPER HERO FOR GAYS!” Carter corrected the statement by saying “You’re right. She’s a superhero for bisexuals!” and attached a Polygon article…

Following Star Wars Celebration this past weekend, the galaxy far, far away has taken a stand to support a new cast member. Moses Ingram recently joined the “Star Wars” franchise as Reva Sevander in “Obi-Wan Kenobi” on Disney+. While Ingram has received lots of praise, she also got a number of racist comments and messages she shared to her Instagram stories. Some of the examples she provided said things like “You’re days are numbered [sic]” and “You suck loser. You’re a diversity hire and you won’t be loved or remembered for this acting role.” She even put out a video…

Fast food giant Arby’s is adding burgers to their menu for the first time in history. Which is surprising, because when people think of quick service restaurants, they immediately think of burgers. Instead of focusing on making billions of mediocre burgers, we’re taking a stance on high-quality meat that deserves to be cooked properly,” Patrick Schwing, Chief…
