Heath Andrews has been a student of pop culture ever since he found himself to be the only student in 3rd grade who regularly watched "Get Smart" on Nick-At-Nite. Ever since then he's been engrossed in way too much media with a growing collection of music, books, comics, TV on DVD box sets, and a video game collection that could rival a brick and mortar store. Prior to writing for Nerdbot he's written for Review You, MyAnimeList, and various advertising companies.

It was a sad day for comic book fans in late April when we reported that The CW was cancelling “Legends of Tomorrow” and “Batwoman.” While the latter was mired in some controversy following the departure of series lead Ruby Rose after season one, “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” was a fan favorite. Imagine our surprise when The CW announced 7 additional series cancellations today. Confirmed cancelled series include “Charmed” (the 2018 reboot now on season 4), “The 4400” (2021 reboot), “Naomi,” “Roswell New Mexico” (2019 reboot), “Dynasty” (2017 reboot) and “Legacies.” The upcoming fourth season of “In the Dark” will…

Talk about a sale that turned out to be a bust! People will frequently discuss among friends or in online posts the surprising steals they come across when shopping at Goodwill stores. Heck, last year a Pasta Maker 2000 was found at a thrift store. But that purchase turned out to be a figurative bust, in the sense that it was not worth the money that was paid for it. The same can not be said about a 2018 acquisition from a Texas Goodwill which was a literal bust statue that turned out to be over 2,000 years old. Even…

Looks like things in Oz just got a bit more complicated. It’s almost fitting that a movie steeped in its own legend and issues would have one of its most famous pieces of clothing also surrounded by storied twists and turns. Now, there’s a lawsuit seeking to stop the auction from happening. In case you didn’t read the previous article, here’s a quick recap to catch…

Many a “Star Wars” fan’s heart sank when major changes were made to the Expanded Universe following the Disney acquisition of Lucasfilm. Today, these stories are regarded as the Legends canon, completely distinct from the current continuity. That being said, certain elements have found their way into the current timeline, like the villainous Grand…

Arby’s- they have THE MEATS! They have more than that too, but ‘the meats’ is something they really wanted to emphasize in their commercials. Others would prefer to emphasize some of the other menu samplings, like say, their dessert menu. In particular the Arby’s signature treat- a shake that combines the tastes of Kona coffee, chocolate, and whip cream into what they have dubbed the Jamocha Shake. If you’re a fan of the frosty beverage but want to take that love affair even further, well, Arby’s has just the thing for you: the Jamocha Shake bath bomb. That’s right; in…

In the middle of Upstate New York, it is not an uncommon sight to see cars stopping because a gaggle of Canadian geese strolling across the road. Annoying as it is, at least they tend to move along pretty quick. And, if your vehicle moves slowly enough, they’ll scatter out of the way with no harm done to them. We’ve also discussed watching out for moose on the road in Canada. Oh, and to make sure they don’t lick your vehicle for the salt. But that’s North America. Now imagine you’re in Tanzania, and you have to deal with lions…

If you’ve ever asked yourself the question “How many ‘The Walking Dead’ shows and spin-offs do we REALLY need?” The answer to that query is apparently at least one more than previously thought. If you didn’t know, AMC’s first “The Walking Dead” spin-off, “Fear the Walking Dead” had a one-off special called “Dead in the Water” that premiered on AMC+ earlier this year. Proving once again that even though the franchise has grown stale, the network continues to let it shamble on like an inanimate corpse. That said, if you’re dead-set on watching it (pun fully intended), it is now…
