After The CW tried (and failed) twice to adapt Joel Schumacher‘s iconic 1987 vampire flick “The Lost Boys” into a series, sounds like a third attempt is on the way. This one is reportedly coming from Warner Bros. Pictures, and will be a film rather than a show.
Jonathan Entwislte is currently set to direct, with Randy McKinnon tackling the script.
We do know that Noah Jupe (“A Quiet Place“) and Jaeden Martell (“IT“) are already set to star.

The original film starred Jason Patric, Kiefer Southerland, Diane Wiest, Edward Herrman, Alex Winter, Corey Haim, Corey Fieldman, and Jamie Gertz. Talk about a slice of Americana.
Seriously though, “The Lost Boys” has one of the BEST soundtrack albums of the period, we dare you not to add every single song to your Halloween playlist.
While we don’t *really* want this film remade at all, we are more interested in this version than The CW’s ill-fated attempt with “Twilight” director Catherine Hardwicke.
We’ll let you know what else we hear about this and other news.
