With this being a very strange time as the US is adjusting to a reopening with limitation, Cinco De Mayo is looking very bleak for a lot of us. Taco Bell is bringing a bright light to in the darkness by giving us new At-Home Taco Bar.
Right now, Taco Bell is serving via delivery or drive-thru. You can pick up your very own At-Home Taco Bar through either of these options. The kit includes flour tortillas, crunch taco shells, nacho chips, seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, nacho cheese and more to keep the whole happy family happy. Feeding six people their Cinco De Mayo dinner at the cost of $25.
“Our food has always been a catalyst of bringing people together, and we’re finding new ways to do this from a safe distance until we can all be together again. No matter the meal they create, we’re excited to give fans a new at-home Taco Bell experience.”
Melissa Freibe, Taco Bell’s senior vice president of brand marketing and consumer insights.
Taco Bell has also released a series of recipe cards on their blog that come straight from their own kitchen. There are step-by-step instructions on how to use the ingredients provided to create your faves like the Double-Decker Taco, as well as some new recipes.
This should help allow people who are limited to outside visits at this time have a more eventful Cinco De Mayo. You can make all your favorites and so can the rest of the family while keeping safe indoors.
