“Tick Tick…Boom!” is a triumphant, beautiful film, powered by dazzling performances from its lead and true passion and knowledge from its creators.9
“Ghostbusters: Afterlife” packs a lot of heart and for the most part, balances out the nostalgia nods with a new story for a new generation, even if misses some of the laugh out loud humor of the original.
“Tiger King 2” is a missed opportunity, and fails to deliver on a narrative that’s worth investing in.
Little Spoon has changed the way I view mealtime. Now I have more time to play with the kids.
“The Harder They Fall” is a masterful film, packed with purposeful visuals and story worth seeing through until the very end.
“Dune” is enormous in both scale and ambition, and sports some of the best visuals ever put to screen, even if the narrative leaves newcomers feeling confused and disconnected. It’s a little too pretentious to be engaging story wise, but so well done visually it’s hard to not enjoy the experience.
“Dune” feels like a new entry as a grand cinema epic in the tradition of “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Cleopatra.”
If you’re a fan of the series already, “The Movies That Made Us” season 3 is more of what you love on Netflix.
