Looks like Chris Evans may be donning a much more red suit, as he’s set to join Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s holiday film “Red One.” Johnson announced the project in summer 2021, which landed at Amazon Studios. Jake Kasdan, Johnson’s “Jumanji” franchise collaborator, is set to direct the project.  “Red One” will be written by Chris Morgan who is best known for his work on the “Fast & Furious” saga. At long last, we get a look at Oscar-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro’s long awaited “Pinocchio” adaptation. The film has been in the making for – well quite frankly we’ve lost track. The project was originally at least announced in 2008. After several years unable to find a solid partner, Netflix salvaged the production in 2017. Del Toro’s take on Carlo Collodi’s will be a stop-motion musical. Mark Gustafson serves as co-diretor.  The new clip features Sebastian J. Sounds like director Bong Joon-ho is in talks to direct Robert Pattinson in an adaptation of “Mickey7.” The Academy Award-winning director will take on the sci-fi tale about an expendable clone. The novel which it’s based on is set to come out this year. It sounds a bit like “The Martian” meets “Moon,” and we’re here for it. The novel is by Edward Ashton. Ever the busy bee, Murray Bartlett is joining the upcoming Hulu limited series about the founder of Chippendales, “Immigrant.” Bartlett will be playing Nick De Noia, the male revue shows’ producer / choreographer.  The series will focus on Chippendales founder Somen “Steve” Banerjee, being played by Kumail Nanjiani. Banerjee took some less than legal routes to bring Chippendales from a sketchy west LA endeavor to the globally recognized name it is today.
