Nicholas McCarthy

Hello my name is Nicholas D. McCarthy aka "The Squid." Yes, my nickname is "The Squid" from the Nickelodeon cartoon show named Rocket Power, because I look like character Sam Dullard. Yes, I am single! I like to say that I'm 33-year-old rebel without cause. However, deep down I'm just person trying to live life to the fullest that's all. Even though I have Cerebral Palsy and Hydrocephalus I don't let that define who I am. I also like to say that I love to get wild and crazy sometimes especially on the weekends but in reality, I don't because I'm nerd LOL. I am a student at SUNY Adirondack for Media Arts. I like to write, draw, read, watch TV, Movies, and do CosPlay. I also love to listen to music minus old school country. Another thing I like to do is having fun with my friends and playing and watching the New York Knicks and playing them on my PS3. I also enjoy volunteering my time to help others in need. My long-term dream and goal is to write and illustrate my own Graphic Novel someday. I want tell the world my unique story. The reason is because we all have unique story and hidden gifts or talents that we need to share with world to make it better place. I also have Cerebral Palsy and Hydrocephalus and I believe that God has plan for me. My dream and goal are write and illustrate my own Graphic Novel tell my unique story. I hope is by telling my story I will impact and change the world to better place just like we started when we came to America. It just takes one small act kindness to start chain reaction just like my friend Rachel Scott once said. “Tomorrow's not a promise... but it's a chance. You might just start a chain reaction. And what's behind all of this is my faith. I'm a Christian. And... I'm not trying to be weird or convert anybody or anything like that. I just wanted to be real with you guys, and let you know who I am. Jesus gave his life for me, and I'll give my life to him. Just wanted to get that out there.” I want to continue with what she started. Despite my disabilities I don’t let them define who I am as a person; that why I am going to college to get my degree in Media Arts and another degree for English. My plan is to help others find their unique gifts or talent and put them to use to make positive impact on this world. Here is my CosPlay Page
