Author: Mary Anne Butler

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.

We knew it was highly likely for even more of Warner Bros. Pictures proposed release schedule to change as the pandemic rages ever onward. And no, there still hasn’t been a trailer for…

While speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Allen spoke a bit about what the planned second film was going to be like, and why it could still happen, even after the passing of co-star Alan Rickman. “[The…

The big news, aside from the series itself, is the news that “John Wick” creator / writer Derek Kolstad will be developing and writing the script for this Dungeons & Dragons show for Habsro and eOne.At present, we don’t know what…

Kevin Smith just posted a “Clerks III” update, including script pages! While it’s not much, he does give fans a bit of hope for when the third and likely final chapter of the Dante and Randall trilogy might see the light of day. I started writing CLERKS III on December 28th and just finished the 101 page first draft last night! But the writing doesn’t begin when you start tapping the keys: I’ve been stirring this stew in my brain pan for awhile now. So when I sat down to put years of daydreaming into actual words, the typing part…
