We are so absolutely delighted to share the news that Dame Helen Mirren, one of the most brilliant actresses EVER, will be joining the cast of Warner Bros. Pictures upcoming film “Shazam! At long last, Josh Boone’s much maligned film “The New Mutants” has a new streaming service home. While the flick did have a small release in 2020, it was unfortunately during the Covid-19 worldwide lockdown. Late last night, Bloomberg broke the news that all signs were pointing to tech giant Microsoft possibly forking over $10 million to purchase communications platform Discord. This would be a pretty big deal, as Discord is widely used in the gaming community, and would be a great buy.But. Would Microsoft actually do it? We are very pleased to report the news that all around good ‘un Keanu Reeves just signed a big deal with Netflix. If you’ll recall, Reeves recently launched a comic book titled “BRZRKR” from Boom! Studios. The comic, which has received high praise all around, will be getting adapted in both a film and anime series on streaming giant Netflix. Shocking pretty much everyone, The CW’s “Batwoman” series has revealed another surprising twist. We are very pleased to report that Emerald Fennell, director of surprise hit “Promising Young Woman,” has been tapped by Warner Bros. Pictures to pen an upcoming DC Comics superhero script. Fennell will write “Zatanna,” magician extraordinare in the world of DC. Long rumored to be in development, this live-action project featuring Zatanna was confirmed earlier this year during an AT&T press conference. Also mentioned was Batgirl, although not much is known about that project yet. At present, no names have been mentioned for director, or who might possibly star as Zatanna.
