We’ve all been caught in a web of anticipation for Marvel Studios / Sony Pictures’ next installment in their “Spider-Man” franchise starring Tom Holland. Just a few days ago, someone leaked the trailer (no, not Holland), and it immediately lit the fuse of excitement. This week, CinemaCon kicks off in Las Vegas. First up for presentations is none other than Sony. “Spider-Man: No Way Home” will be directed by Jon Watts from a script by Chris McKenna. It’s currently slated to swing into theaters on December 17th, 2021. Okay but….DOC OCK.

After over a year, Disney Parks is finally shedding some additional light onto their announced re-theming of iconic attraction Splash Mountain. It wouldn’t be a month in 2021 if we weren’t all speculating on the release of the “Spider-Man: No Way Home” trailer. After a fairly active weekend on the web (pun totally intended)- i.e. a possible ‘leak’- current Spider-Man star Tom Holland is once again fueling the fire. This just in-it sounds like Jurnee Smollett’s time in the DCEU isn’t done! According to a report from Cinelinx which was later confirmed by Collider, Smollett’s Black Canary is getting a solo project! Smollett first appeared as Dinah Lance in Cathy Yan’s “Birds of Prey” feature film for Warner Bros. Pictures alongside Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn and Ewan McGregor’s Black Mask.Misha Green (“Lovecraft Country”) is set to write the script for the flick.
