Peter Jackson’s “The Frighteners” turns the big 25 this year, and you know what? It still holds up, mostly.

“Alone in the Dark” is a blemish on any actor’s resume that should be apologized for regardless of the years that have passed since 2005.
“Loki” episode 5 packs a gut punch of emotion and self realization while consistently delivering some stunning visuals and action sequences.
The internet is rarely short on meme trends, consistently finding new formats and themes to relentlessly create in as many different ways as possible. The last big craze was the Bernie Mittens meme craze, in which Bernie Sanders and his giant Inauguration mitten wear was memed into just about every facet of pop culture imaginable. With the release of “F9: The Fast Saga” DOM-inating (I’m not bette than this and I will not apologize) the box office as theaters begin returning to normal, the internet has decided that Dom and his “nothing is stronger than family” defining trait should be…
It seems I am now incapable of watching anything without reviewing it, as I had no real intention of writing a review of “This is Pop.” I legitimately started watching the new Netflix series out of my sheer love for pop music. Anyone that knows me knows that I have an unwavering and unyielding love for good pop music, a love that I have no problem owning at every chance I get. My workout playlists are comprised of primarily pop hits, I know just about every word to every pop in hit in the last 25 years, and I have…
“Independence Day” not only gives us countless quotable lines, but clever use of technology and cinematography too!
“America: The Motion Picture” is too clever and too self aware for its own good, crumbling under the weight of its own self importance.

Let’s get something straight right away: I am EXACTLY who these movies are made for. I love everything about the “Fast and Furious” franchise, and I genuinely revel in the ridiculousness of all of them. The escalating absurdity where physics don’t exist and Family Toretto & Friends are basically the Avengers of street racing is the perfect recipe for pure, unadulterated popcorn action. “F9” should’ve been all of these things and more, and love letter to fans craving the most bat shit crazy things you can imagine. For the most part, the action has all the ingredients for just that;…
I know it’s only been 3 weeks and 3 episodes in, but “Loki” continues to impress and strike the perfect balance between revelation and mystery. There is true story craftsmanship here, furthered by yet another visually stunning episode and Tom Hiddleston proving once again that it doesn’t matter who you pair him with, he thrives in buddy cop banter. “Loki” episode 3 provides viewers with even more insight into what’s really going on while also raising more (and new) questions, while simultaneously layering both Loki and the variant through their time traveling, apocalyptic adventure. Episode 3 is another strong step…
