Hootie and the Blowfish are set to go on an epic 25th anniversary tour for their album “Cracked Rear View.” It’s been more than a decade since they released an album, their last being 2005’s “Looking for Lucky”. In a tweet from the original voice actress of Rei Ayanami, Amanda Winn Lee we found out that Netflix is planning on re-dubbing the classic series. We learned earlier this week through a press release that they would be streaming it worldwide next year. Earlier this week Akira Miyazaki passed away at the age of 84 due to bile duct cancer. His oldest daughter Momoko was chief mourner at his funeral Thursday November 29. He was responsible for writing six movie scripts in the series Otoko wa Tsurai yo, “Being a Man is Tough”. He first directed movie was a 1971 film called Naite Tamaru ka, “As If I’d Cry”. With only a few days left before Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse coming out in theaters, Sony has high hopes for the film. So much so that they have already announced that they are planning for not only a sequel but a fully female spinoff as well.
