Filmmaker Tommy Wirkola’s (Violent Night) shark movie Thrash has already gone through a whirlwind of changes. But the project’s killer instincts have it coming out on top in the movie’s first trailer. Wirkola’s film was originally with Sony Pictures and called Beneath the Storm when it was 1st announced in 2024. The title changed to Shiver later on that same year. Australian designer Katie Perry has won a 16-year-long trademark battle against US pop star Katy Perry. With 10 Grammys and 2 Oscars for songwriting under her belt, Billie Eilish is looking for new worlds to conquer. It’s being reported that Eilish is in talks to make her big-screen debut in an adaptation of Sylvia Plath’s The Bell Jar. The film will be directed by Oscar winner Sarah Polley (Away From Her). Back in 2020, Alex Prager received the “YearQuil” meme from her sister Vanessa Prager. The image joked about creating a version of NyQuil that will let you sleep until the world returns to normal. In 2014, Alice Oseman released the novel Solitaire. Throughout the writing process, she fell in love with two side characters, Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring. In 2015, she wrote the novellas Nick and Charlie and This Winter, exploring the couple’s backstory. These books laid the groundwork for what would become the Heartstopper graphic novels.
