Is there and food pairing more satisfying than a hot coffee and a doughnut? We think not. McDonald’s restaurants will be partnering with Krispy Kreme to sell their legendary doughnuts. Creating a sweet and convenient update to the fast food retailer’s menu.  The companies plan to roll out this new offering in select stores sometime later this year. Nationwide availability, at participating restaurants, is expected by the end of 2026. In 1961, legendary rock band The Beach Boys formed in Hawthorne, California. In 1914, Paris, France held its first waiters’ race, a tradition that continued until 2010. After a 13-year hiatus, the Course Des Cafés event returned. Filmmaker Ryan Coogler (“Black Panther”) wants to know what it sounds like when doves cry. He is attached to produce a currently untitled jukebox musical of Prince songs for Universal Pictures. This particular project, based on the late musician has been kicking around since 2018, with a script by Bryan Edward Hill (“Zone 414”). Producers for the project include Coogler, Zinzi Coogler, Sev Ohanian, Troy Carter of Atom Factory, and Universal Music Publishing Group chair Jody Gerson. Disney Channel’s series “Wizards of Waverly Place” ran from 2007 to 2012 and starred Selena Gomez, David Henrie, Jake T. Austin, and David DeLuise.
