Four-time Oscar nominee David Lynch (“Dune,” “Twin Peaks”) is still hoping his animated feature “Snootworld” will come to fruition. This is despite Netflix recently rejecting his fairytale pitch. Filmmaker Ti West (“House of The Devil”) is bringing his X trilogy to an end with “MaXXXine.” A24 had just released the first blood-soaked trailer, with star Mia Goth (“Infinity Pool”) decked out in ‘80s galm. “MaXXXine,” will follow 2022’s “X” and “Pearl” both starring Goth as Pearl and recurring character Maxine Minx. Between long lines, TSA, and delays – flying is generally already a nerve-wracking experience. Unfortunately, passengers aboard a Southwest Airlines plane heading from Denver, Colorado to Houston, Texas had that anxiety cranked to 11. The Sunday morning flight was leaving the Denver International Airport when an engine covering fell off the Boeing 737 plane and hit the plane’s wing flap. The flight’s crew reported to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) that the engine cowling fell off during takeoff, and struck the wing flap. The 1966 sci-fi film “Fantastic Voyage,” starring the late Raquel Welch, has left an indelible mark on pop culture. A proposed remake, launched by James Cameron, has been kicking around Hollywood since the late 1990s. Now, it seems we may soon get to see the project come to life. In 1999, Universal Pictures released “The Mummy” directed by Stephen Sommers. It starred Oscar-winner Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz, John Hannah, and Arnold Vosloo. In 1993, “The Simpsons” tackled the issue of workers’ rights in its classic episode “Last Exit to Springfield.” In the episode, Homer Simpson becomes president of the union at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. In 1995, Maximum Press released the first issue of “Avengelyne,” a comic created by Rob Liefeld and Cathy Christian. The series tells the story of an angel who fights the forces of evil, like demons and monsters. Someone took calling themselves a “human trash can” just a bit too far in Sacramento, California. Footage from a doorbell camera shows someone dressing up as a literal trash bag to steal people’s mail. A Sacramento resident received a notification about the delivery, but when they went to check for the package it was nowhere to be found. After reviewing the footage from their doorbell camera they realized that a porch pirate got super creative with their thievery. While most families were enjoying time together on Easter Sunday, it seems others were busy pulling off a daring heist. Upwards of $30 million in cash has been stolen from the GardaWorld facility in Sylmar in the San Fernando Valley.  The Heist The thieves entered the cash storage facility by going through the roof.
