Disgraced two-time Oscar winner Kevin Spacey’s comeback with Welch thriller “Control” has hit a snag. The film was set to premiere at the Prince Charles Cinema, in the center of London’s film district. But the theater has now canceled the event once they got wind of the actor’s involvement with the movie. The controversy stems from continued accusations of sexual assault committed by Spacey. During a New York Comic Con (NYCC) panel Jason Blum confirmed that Blumhouse’s merger with James Wan’s Atomic Monster is “very close” to closing. “It’s not quite done yet,” he said during the Universal Pictures’ “BlumFest” session. “It’s very close.” About a year ago it was announced that the two production entities were looking to join forces. This year’s Fat Bear Week has been full of twists and turns, but online voters have crowned 128 “Grazer” as the champion! This is a first-time win for the mother and salmon connoisseur, defeating 32 “Chunk” by more than 85,000 votes. She is also the 3rd female bear (sow) to claim the Fat Bear throne. Filmmaker Eugene Ashe (“Sylvie’s Love”) has officially joined Disney+’s reboot of “The Rocketeer.” David Oyelowo (“Silo”) is attached to star in/produce the project as a part of a two-year first-look deal with Disney. “The Rocketeer” is based on the comic book character of the same name created by the late artist/writer Dave Stevens. Of course just as they are preparing to devour dinner, in typical bloodsoaked fashion.
