A fan group has been asked to halt their “Resident Evil” and “Resident Evil Code: Veronica” video game remakes. The projects were being developed by Matt Croft, Briins Croft, and DarkNemesisUmbrella as free to play games. While these remakes have been in development for some time, it seems Capcom finally noticed, and officially asked them to stop. Swedish retail giant H&M has pulled its Justin Bieber merchandise after the singer slammed them on Instagram. The pop star posted two since deleted notes to his Instagram story. He claimed he didn’t approve any of the merch collection “that they put up at H&M.” Bieber contends the entire collection was done without his approval or permission. “SMH I wouldn’t buy it if I were you,” he posted. Two fans of actress Ana de Armas filed a lawsuit in January after renting the 2019 film “Yesterday.” The plaintiffs, Conor Woulfe and Peter Michael Rosza, filed the suit after they rented the film for $3.99 on Amazon Prime. Their issue is, while de Armas is featured in the trailer, she does not appear in the film. Paramount is finally releasing a 4K remaster of Matthew Robbins’ dark fantasy film “Dragonslayer.” Initially released in 1981, the film tells the story young wizarding apprentice (Peter MacNicol) who is sent to kill a dragon that has been devouring girls from a nearby kingdom. It was a massive cult hit, that hasn’t seen a physical media release since DVD. HBO has finally set a 2023 release date for Mindy Kaling’s animated series “Velma,” a spin-off of the long running “Scooby-Doo” series. While the original “Scooby-Doo” series is family and kid-friendly, Kaling’s version will be more adult-oriented.
