Discovery+ has released the trailer for a three-part docuseries about Armie Hammer and his family history titled “House of Hammer.”   Hammer was an actor on the rise when in early 2021 several women came forward and accused him of sexual abuse. With many still reeling from the recent cancelation of the Leslie Grace “Batgirl” movie, it’s understandable that some are apprehensive about other Warner Bros. Discovery projects. A spokesperson for Warner Bros. “Marvel’s Daredevil” star Vincent D’Onofrio will be releasing a children’s book called “Pigs Can’t Look Up,” based on one of his tweets that happened to go viral. The inspiration comes from a tweet he posted on April 20th, 2019. It was retweeted 30,000 times. Shudder has released a trailer for Christopher Hatton’s newest horror film, “Raven’s Hollow.” It’s a supernatural period piece inspired by an incident in the life of iconic American writer, Edgar Allan Poe. On August 8th, Black Sabbath’s Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Iommi reunited on state to perform “Paranoid” at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England. Which makes this even cooler since Birmingham is also the band’s hometown. While “The Orville” has an undeniably strong fan following, several factors are making its odds of renewal a bit murky. Mike Tyson is once again decrying “Mike,” Hulu’s biography series about him. The professional heavyweight boxer claims the streamer “stole” his life story. In the late 1970s, scientists at the Bulgarian National Museum of Natural History looked into two fossilized teeth that were embedded in some coal deposits. The pair of teeth included an upper canine and an upper molar, and they were eventually re-found in an old collection within the museum. Unfortunately, due to these fossils not being cataloged properly, they had been forgotten about for almost 50 years. If life wasn’t meta enough for you, AMC’s “Better Call Saul” is being sued by Liberty Tax Service for “intentional misuse” and a “rip off” of its image. Liberty Tax Service filed the complaint with the Manhattan federal court August 1st. They allege AMC Networks Inc. and Sony Pictures Television Inc. are guilty of “dilution, defamation, disparagement, and injurious falsehoods” for depicting of their business as fraudulent.
