Alison Hammond will be joining the cast of “Great British Bake Off” (aka “Great British Baking Show”) as their newest co-host. She will be replacing Matt Lucas, who is leaving due to scheduling conflicts with other projects. Hammond will join Noel Fielding on the next season of the iconic show, which launched in the U.K. back in 2010. To announce her new role, Hammond posted an adorable video to Instagram. Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson are teaming up once again on a new comedy series for Apple TV+. This currently untitled project will be coming from creator David West Read (“Schitt’s Creek”).  The Show will have McConaughey and Harrelson playing versions of themselves. “Homeland” co-creators/executive producers Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa will be returning to SHOWTIME. They are teaming up to write a new series based on the 1997 film, “Gattaca.” “Gattaca” is a dystopian science fiction thriller written and directed by Andrew Niccol. It takes place in a future society driven by eugenics, where children are conceived through genetic selection to ensure they have the best possible hereditary from their parents. A video of a surprising verbal altercation between Bruce Campbell and a heckler at the SXSW premiere of “Evil Dead Rise” has gone viral. After the film’s screening finished, several cast and crew members did a Q & A session. A young person slouched in their balcony seat was approached by event staff.  The patron pops up and yells something about “the goddamn movie,” over the person speaking on stage. Does legendary cryptid the Loch Ness Monster have a friend? A new video may suggest it does! The mystical monsters were spotted via a live webcam feed of the loch that is maintained by Visit Inverness Loch Ness (VILN).  The ‘pair’ were spotted by Nessie hunter Eoin O’Faodhagain at Shoreland Lodges, near Fort Augustus on the loch’s southern shore. The upcoming film “Evil Dead Rise” may be the first entry into the franchise that is completely devoid of Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell). An unnamed man was hospitalized after his pet zebra bit his arm off. Some reports claimed he lost his arm, but it has since been confirmed it was able to be reattached. The incident took place in Circleville, Ohio, about 20 miles south of Columbus. Around 5:30pm on March 12th, the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office deputies found the man lying on the ground in a fenced-in field. While they were on the scene attempting to help the injured man, his pet zebra continued acting erratically and aggressively. Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (“Do Revenge”) IS directing a new “I Know What You Did Last Summer” sequel for Sony Pictures. Allegedly, two of the film’s original stars, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr., have been in talks to reprise their roles.
