Right on the heels of Cholula’s releasing their Reserva Tequila & Lime hot sauce, made with agave tequila and a blend of chilis. The hot sauces makers, McCormick, are releasing a new line of salsas and taco seasoning mixes!
“We’re excited to expand beyond the sauce category and into the mainstream Mexican aisle to deliver that delicious flavor and balanced heat to passionate Cholula fans in new and exciting ways,” Valda Coryat, North America vice president of marketing for McCormick & Company, said. “Flavor runs in the Cholula family and our salsas and taco seasoning mixes are no exception to the motherload of mouthwatering taste we bring to each and every recipe.”
Cholula hot sauce fans now have three new salsas and 3 new taco seasoning blends to choose from. The salsas come in Original, Salsa Verde, and Smoky Chipotle flavors. The taco seasonings are available in Original, Smoky Chipotle, and Chili Garlic. According to McCormick the new line is all made with “fresh and quality ingredients like Mexican chiles, herbs and spices.” Which helps it deliver authentic Mexican flavors, like its signature hot sauces.
But if you’re into Cholula, and we mean really into Cholula, they will also be putting out a new line of limited-edition clothing. But the company hasn’t given the official details on what that will be or when it will release, just yet.
