Fresh off the success of Clown In A Cornfield, Eli Craig plans to inject more horror into the holidays. Nick Jonas (Power Ballad) and Kathryn Newton (Ready or Not 2: Here I Come) will star in White Elephant from MRC, Radio Silence, and Project X. This will be the first film release under a new partnership between these production companies.
Craig will direct from a script by JT Billings, on which he did some additional writing.
“Eight friends. One prize. Zero trust. Their annual festive holiday gift exchange spirals into a cutthroat game of Christmas carnage,” the logline reads.
Joans and Spencer Berman are producing for Powered By Jonas. William Sherak, Paul Neinstein, and James Vanderbilt will produce for Project X, with Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin. Billings, Newton, Ryan McDonough, Amanda Drake, Scott Levine, and Chad Villella will executive produce.
