In 2015, Arrowhead Game Studios’ “Helldivers” hit shelves and became a wild success with gamers. Justin Lin (“F9: The Fast Saga”) will be directing the upcoming film adaptation for PlayStation Productions and Sony Pictures.  It’s just been confirmed that Jason Momoa (“The Wrecking Crew”) will star! Filmmaker Mike Flanagan is continuing his mission to adapt every single Stephen King property. This time, he has his sights set on the 1980 novella, “The Mist.” The IP was previously adapted into a 2007 film directed by Frank Darabont, and a 2017 series for Paramount. Flanagan will direct and write the screenplay for Warner Bros. Pictures. He’ll also be producing for Red Room with Tyler Thompson and Spyglass’ Gary Barber and Chris Stone. Filmmaker Edgar Wright (“Last Night In Soho”) is a big fan of physical media in the age of digital-only releases. Earlier today, he announced an upcoming 4K steel book edition for his remake of “The Running Man” hitting shelves next month. The company released an 18-second teaser trailer with exactly zero footage of the game itself or even a graphic of the cabinet.
