Sometimes romance is a hell of a thing. Sarah Michelle Gellar (Ready or Not 2: Here I Come) and Rudy Pankow (Outer Banks) will star in the supernatural romance Thud. The duo will play the Grim Reaper and the Devil, respectively.
It is directed by Mali Elfman (Next Exit) from a script by Noga Pnueli (Meet Cute).
Thud tells the story of the Devil (Pankow) and the Grim Reaper (Gellar) meeting during a 3-day destination wedding. They soon fall in love, when they came to the wedding to sort out their own chaos.
The upcoming project is set to start shooting soon in Los Angeles. Thud produced by Derek Bishé and David Grove Churchill Viste. Pnueli, Helmstreet Productions’ Lindsay Helms and Joel Nevells, Divide/Conquer‘s Greg Gilreath and Adam Hendricks, Radio Silence‘s Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, with Dan Lawler executive produce.
