We bet you didn’t have the discovery of a mythical being on your 2024 bingo card. An international team of scientists has unearthed a 240-million-year-old aquatic reptile fossil with an extremely long neck with snake-like features. Making it bear more than a passing resemblance to the mythical Chinese Dragon.   The fossil recovered belongs to a dinocephalosaurus orientalis, a being first discovered in 2003. These animals often grew to more than 16 feet and lived in the ocean during China’s Triassic period.
