AEW Heels: The Community for Female Identifying Wrestling Fans

Professional Wrestling tends to be male dominated, in the ring and with fans. AEW Heels sought to change that for female identifying fans. Brandi Rhodes started this group so female identifying fans had a space to express their interests for the sport without being trolled. There is a yearly membership fee of $50, but members receive amazing perks that are more than worth the cost.

AEW Heels members get access to the members only website, where they can express their love for all wrestling promotions. Members can attend monthly zoom meetings that cover a range of topics, like the work that goes on behind the scenes. There’s also the opportunity for a zoom meeting game night, so members can form stronger bonds. Other perks include exclusive meet ups for Pay-Per-View (PPV) events, and exclusive photos of AEW talent. Members can also get free entry to Meet & Greets that have a wrestler from the Women’s Division.

The group is currently ran by AEW Referee Aubrey Edwards, Ring Announcer Dasha Kuret, and Production member Amanda Huber. The three, on top of all their other duties with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), monitor the website, organize events, and host zoom meetings. AEW Director of Merchandising Chrissy Meyers, organizes Meet & Greets. Even higher executive member, Linda Leludis is a huge advocate for the group.

I myself am a member of this amazing community, joining back in March when AEW first came to the San Francisco Bay Area. Since joining I have made such a great connection with the group as a whole. We may all be fans of wrestling, but conversations get much deeper and personal in the group. Each member is part of a larger support network that some female identifying fans may not have. I definitely plan on renewing my membership because of how much I love this community.

If you are a female identify fan of wrestling and want to learn more, or join the group, you can do so here.
