Dolly Parton has a Cameo on “The Orville”

Fans of “The Orville” were treated to a special appearance in episode “Midnight Blue,” season 3 episode 8. Dolly Parton appears at exactly 43 minutes in when Haveena meets her as a hologram, who’s currently living in a cabin. Seth McFarlane posted a thank you to the larger-than-life country star

We all know that Dolly is such a lovely person at heart. She’s responsible for “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” because it was her production company that produced it. She’s starring in the Taco Bell “Mexican Pizza: The Musical.” She’s started a program to send books out to children in her hometown that’s been going on for years now. And she’s just such a kind and genuine person, which can be seen in these videos of her reading a bedtime story to kids that she put out during Covid.

So if you’ve seen the episode of “The Orville” that she cameos in, you’ll understand how insanely wholesome that was. If not, I haven’t spoiled it too much for you.

There’s no way to appropriately describe how wonderful it was to see her in that scene. If you’re curious, it’s on Hulu. right now.

Just when I thought this show couldn't get any better, they get a Dolly Parton cameo. Disney+ better give me that season 4. #TheOrvilleNewHorizons | #TheOrville pic.twitter.com/XSSxDVTp6w
