Just Bought Sailor Moon Vans? Save Your Heels With These

For those of you who either haven’t owned Vans before, or have and forgotten how much they dig into your heels, this article is for you. It’s a well kept secret that Vans are super uncomfortable on your heels until they’re not. They may eventually become the most comfortable shoe you own, but it takes time and dedication to get the heel just right. For those who don’t want to wait that long and want to wear their new Sailor Moon Vans, I’ve found something that really helps with the heel digging into your foot.

    Amazon

These Dr. Foot self-adhesive heel cushion inserts will literally save your feet. You could also wiggle the heels back and forth in your spare time like you would work in a baseball mitt, but who has time for that? This is an easy way you can wear your shoes, specifically the slip-ons or the shorter shoes and not get blisters.

I felt that I should write this as a cautionary tale to those who blister easily. On a recent outing in Los Angeles, I wore my Sailor Moon shoes WITH socks, and still blistered really bad. This was a week ago, and they’re still healing.

Specifically, these were the ones that killed my heels.

So for any of you who wore them already and found out the hard way, I’m with you. We definitely suffer for our fandom and style choices. Now hopefully these heel inserts will make sporting our Sailor Moon shoes a lot more comfortable. Plus since they are adhesive and are meant to go on and off, they won’t ruin your shoes. That’s key if you want to keep them nice for collecting purposes.
