In case you forgot, this week would normally see the world’s collections of nerds, geeks, and fans invading San Diego, California for the annual Comic-Con International multi-day spectacular. Obviously, that isn’t happening this year, and the event has gone digital. SDCC 2020 [At Home] kicks off this Wednesday, and the newest teaser released for panel offerings promises to boldly go with “Star Trek.”

CBS All Access has gone all out for Comic-Con@Home, with three exciting panels! To kick things off, the cast of Star Trek: Discovery will participate in a table read of “Such Sweet Sorrow, Part 2” (Season 2, Episode 14) followed by a Q&A. Then, fans can enjoy a conversation with the cast of Star Trek: Lower Decks, the upcoming animated comedy from creator Mike McMahan. (Plus, you’ll be treated to a special first look at the series premiere, which drops on Aug. 6.) Finally, get ready for the Star Trek: Picard cast – including Sir Patrick Stewart – to reunite for one last panel to round out the day.

Stream the Star Trek Universe’s three back-to-back panels at Comic-Con@Home on Thursday, July 23 HERE.

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.
