Nintendo has continued it’s meteoric success with the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo has announced that 4.8 million units have been sold since it’s launch back in March of 2017. This give the Switch the moniker of the fastest selling home console of all time in North America. The previous holder of this title was the Nintendo Wii. Blizzard has announced their Winter Wonderland 2017 event. The event returns on December 12 on consoles and PC. The event will bring back the fan-favorite mode Mei’s Snowball Offensive. In addition to Mei’s Snowball Offensive, a new seasonal event will be added. Mei’s Yeti Hunt will pit a team of 6 players consisting only of Mei against 1 Winston. The player-controlled Winston will have to evade the team of 6 while gathering power-ups and then going on the offensive. This mode sounds similar to the likes of Evolve or Friday the 13th. During the 30-year anniversary celebration, Capcom announced that the Mega Man X games are being re-released next year. Mega Man X, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7 and X8 are making their way to PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. DICE has released an update for Star Wars Battlefront 2. The update is aimed at addressing some of the criticism aimed at the game’s slow progression systems. It also increases the amount of credits earned after a match. Additionally, the top players at the end of each match will earn even more credits.
