Amazon MGM Studios is currently working on a “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” series, choosing Venna Stud as showrunner. The series will be set in the world of the Millennium novels originally written by Stieg Larsson. It has been in development since May 2020, with the plot still remaining under wraps. “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” series was originally meant to be a new standalone story focusing on Lisbeth Salander. The former Paradise Pier Hotel at Disneyland has gotten a makeover. The Pixar Place Hotel will officially open January 30th, 2024. This will be the “first fully Pixar-themed hotel in the United States,” according to Disney. The artists concepts for the hotel, which were released with the announcement, look amazing. The hotel renovation is adjacent to the section of property Disneyland is currently seeking to expand. Clothing and furniture retailer Urban Outfitters is selling refurbished iPods for up to $350, marketing them as retro. The brand has paused pushing vinyl back into the mainstream, to push the “vintage” Apple tech for it’s 22nd anniversary. Daniel Radcliffe has a documentary on the way, about David Holmes, his long-time “Harry Potter” stunt double who was paralyzed. Holmes stood in for Radcliffe, but was unfortunately paralyzed on the set of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1.” Holmes worked as Radcliffe’s stunt double from 2001’s “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” up to 2010’s “Deathly Hallows: Part 1.” He was described as a “prodigious teenage gymnast from Essex, England.” Sadly, Holmes would break his neck on the “Deathly Hallows: Part 1” set, becoming paralyzed from the chest down. A 21-year-old woman is dead after consuming a Charged Lemonade from Panera Bread. Her parents have alleged the restaurant is at fault in a wrongful death lawsuit. These Charged Lemonade drinks contain very high amounts of caffeine, when compared to most energy drinks. Sarah Katz experienced cardiac arrest while inside a restaurant after drinking a Charged Lemonade in September 2022. At the time, Katz believed she was drinking a regular lemonade. Sadly, she would pass while being transported to the hospital after suffering a second cardiac arrest. Katz’s parents filed the lawsuit against Panera Bread on Monday, October 23rd, 2023…

The Grévin Museum in Paris, France revealed a waxwork figure of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Many have taken to social media to ridicule the “melanin deficient” statue. The actor himself responded to the pale tone, stating his representatives would work with the museum to get his skin color right.
