When word first hit in the early 2000s that a musical based on “The Wizard of Oz” was coming, everyone kinda had the same thought. “We already have that. This just in-mere weeks after news broke that filmmaker David Leitch would be directing the next installment of dinosaurs for Universal Pictures, some changes. Ahead of today’s quarterly earnings call for Disney shareholders, CEO Bob Iger did what he does best, and announced some plans for the House of Mouse.
