It’s the moment we’ve been waiting for since Denis Villeneuve announced his vision to reimagine the Frank Herbert science fiction classic “Dune” for Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary. Every time there is an update, we feel our Fremen souls getting a little more excited. According to our friends over at Trailer Track (who, we might add, have the BEST track record around about accurately guessing trailer releases), the very first look at “Dune” will be coming with Warner Bros. re-release of “Inception.” Unfortunately, it looks like only the European markets (which are currently re-opened for in-person theatrical experiences) will get…
We are very much looking forward to the new Netflix series from Ryan Murphy and Evan Romansky about the origin of a truly terrifying character- Nurse Ratched from “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest.” Starring Sarah Paulson as the titular character, this morning we got our first look at the series. Netflix invites you to meet the woman before the monster, Mildred Ratched: While speaking with Vanity Fair, Ryan Murphy said of the series:”I feel like Nurse Ratched is sort of a shorthand for barbarism. Ok sure, maybe Korn isn’t a band you think of often, but Johnathan Davis and co just released a cover of the late great Charlie Daniels’ tune, “The Devil Went Down To Georgia,” and you’ve got to hear it. The Korn cover features guest vocalist rapper Yelawolf. All proceeds from this song will benefit the nonprofit organization Awakening Youth, a nonprofit organization that seeks to uplift at-risk youth in the wake of…

As 2020 keeps ticking along and we wake up each morning asking “What fresh hell do I have to deal with today,” thank goodness for some levity. In this case, a bit of a throwback to when Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange” was still in production. Imagine if you will- you’re working in the comic book store. This is a normal day for you, just hanging out with your buddies and funny papers, surrounded by superheroes of all kinds. Then, suddenly, Benedict Cumberbatch shows up in his full Doctor Strange costume. It happened, and it’s adorable. Thank you to director Scott…
