We’re pretty pissed off, we’re not gonna line. Two of our absolute FAVORITE bands were set to be inducted into the 2020 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class- Nine Inch Nails and Depeche Mode. Unfortunately, a worldwide pandemic had other plans, waylaying the time honored tradition of a big giant ceremony with live performances for a….special, which will air on HBO later this year. ALSO, 2020 would’ve been the organization’s 25th anniversary. So….big giant party, you guys. In a normal year, the Rock Hall goes ALL OUT for their induction ceremonies, asking each of the honorees to pick someone…

Earlier today, Nintendo did a surprise Direct Presentation, all about Super Mario Bros. and the impending anniversary of the title releasing. The presentation, which you can watch here, covered several upcoming planned releases from the company. There is anthology title Super Mario 3D All-Stars (trailer here), which will include optimized versions of Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy for Nintendo Switch. There will be a limited run of Super Mario 3D All-Stars, starting with a…
You know that thing where longest-running primetime scripted series “The Simpsons” accurately predicts things sometimes DECADES before they happen? Things like fixing a budget deficit left by President Donald Trump in the episode “Bart To The Future,” or global flu pandemic AND murder hornets in the same episode “Marge in Chains,” and our current favorite- Kevin Costner defending “The Postman,” which happened in episode “Monty Can’t Buy Me Love.” Kinda. Currently ranking at a whopping 8% on Rotten Tomatoes, “The Postman” chronicles the post-apocalyptic heroics of Costner in the title role of a man who takes it upon himself to deliver mail…

We’re still absolutely heartbroken that Comedy Central made the pretty dumb decision to cancel one of their last remaining originally scripted series, “Drunk History.” The hilarious (and highly educational) show from creator/host Derek Waters had already been renewed for a seventh season, when without warning, the cable network changed their minds and pulled the plug. Waters said he wasn’t even informed of the decision by anyone from Comedy Central- he seems to have found out via Twitter. He told Variety: “It sounds a little dramatic, but it’s like a funeral without any music. I would love to finish what I…
If there’s one thing we’re still REALLY hoping we get in the near future, it’s the “Dredd” offshoot series “Mega City One.” Publishing house Rebellion even bought a damn studio facility in order to sort of jumpstart the process, with Netflix onboard for a continuation of Pete Travis‘s 2012 “Dredd” film starring Karl Urban. This brings us to filmmaker Duncan Jones- who is helming another 2000 AD property’s film adaptation with “Rogue Trooper”- and his…challenge…on Twitter. On the surface, this is just the normal run-of-the-mill “this person is cool” tweet that could possibly mean Jones’ wants to see Josh Brolin pick up the…
Earlier this year, we were set to see the 25th installment of the 007 James Bond franchise, “No Time To Die.” The final Daniel Craig-starring film, complete with it’s Love Boat fonted title, was one of the first casualties of the worldwide pandemic shutting down movie theaters and impacting international travel. Cary Joji Fukunaga is directing. Craig is joined this time by Rami Malek, Ralph Fiennes, Lea Seydoux, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Jeffrey Wright, Dali Benssalah, Billy Magnussen, Ana De Armas, David Dencik, and Lashana Lynch. Just this morning, a second official trailer hit. Fukunaga (Beasts of No Nation, Sin Nombre, Jane…
