We are very sad to share the news that the LEGENDARY Christopher Plummer has passed away. He was a national treasure who deeply relished his Canadian roots. Through his art and humanity, he touched all…

It is always difficult to see someone you admire do something disappointing. This morning it was Tracy Hickman, co-author of the “Dungeons & Dragons” Dragonlance series of books, sharing a fairly controversial meme. Sure, if you look at it on the surface, maybe you won’t see the issue, but it speaks volumes. You can see the post here (unless it gets deleted by Hickman or the original meme poster). UPDATE: Hickman removed the post about five minutes after we published our article. But, you can see the screenshot below: The ‘modernity’ image features redesigns of characters to give more diverse…

Earlier this week, IMAX announced that the newly remastered “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy will be getting a big giant theatrical release. The only problem? We’re still in the middle of a raging worldwide pandemic, with no sign of returning to normalcy anytime soon. Yes, the vaccine is in circulation, and hopefully will become more widely available to everyone in the coming months, but what about this “Lord of the Rings” release?! The majority of US theaters are still closed, because, you know, the pandemic. How tone def is IMAX? Are they unable to read the room? Who exactly…

We’ve sorta been wondering when Disney+ might add the fabulous 1997 version of Rodger and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” to the library. This is the one that features the late great Whitney Houston as the Fairy Godmother, and Brandy Norwood in the title role.Talk about a blast from the past that we absolutely cannot wait to see on the House of Mouse streaming service. This will be the first time the musical will be available on any streaming service. When the adaptation released during the Wonderful World of Disney in 1997, it garnered a whopping 7 Emmy nominations, and took home the…
