In a normal year, waiting for Christmas is akin to some kind of torture for kids. 2020’s version is anxiously awaiting Warner Bros. There’s not shortage of amazing behind the scenes “Star Wars” materials, but this new (old) “The Empire Strikes Back” featurette is absolutely incredible. These are characters and scenes we know SO WELL, getting to see them from another view on the same set is just amazing. Shared this morning by “Good Morning America,” we cannot get over how amazing everything looks. So much of the on-set magic of “Empire” is on display, with the bonus of that amazing cast interacting as themselves. This may be one of our favorite “pass the something” videos we’ve seen on social media yet. A group of AMAZING warrior women channelling their inner “Black Panther” special forces royal bodyguard Dora Milaje in a passing the spear video. If you’ll recall, the Dora Milaje are the ELITIE group of warriors who protect the royal family of Wakanda, and kick so much ass. The video, posted by actual Dora Milaje from “Black Panther” Maria Hippolyte, is freaking amazing. Thank you for sharing this, Maria. It’s incredible, and makes us want to pick up a spear.

This past weekend, 2-time Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet hosted “Saturday Night Live,” with musical guest Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band. While we were really were hoping for a “Dune” sketch, we have to say the resulting episode was one of the better ones from the past two seasons. Admittedly, the thing that really sold us on Chalamet hosting came during his monolog, where he shared a bit of his personal history with the long-running 46-season sketch comedy show. Turns out, Chalamet’s mom is an actress too, and during the 1990s, she did background work on “Saturday Night Live.”…

WE ARE SO EXCITED about this. Like, we’re kind of surprised we’re this excited, but, here we are. If you’ll recall, Netflix is saying goodbye to the “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” after part four airs later this year, and that kind of sucks. You’d think this is the type of thing that would’ve been confirmed during yesterday’s Disney Investor Day Marvel Studios’ portion, but there is a story circulating right now that Jaimie Alexander may be returning to the MCU as Sif.This story comes from Deadline, who claims exclusive knowledge. Alexander played Lady Sif, Asgardian warrior, friend of Thor (Chris Hemsworth), and one of the Brave Companions/Warriors Three in the first “Thor” film directed by Kenneth Branagh. It’s been a little bit since we heard anything from HBO about the state of their “Game of Thrones” prequel series, “House of the Dragon” all about the Targaryen family. This morning, the cabler announced three of their cast for the show, which will take it’s plot from the “Song of Ice and Fire” novels as well as the additional materials penned by “Game of Thrones” wordsmith George R.
