Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.

We still think the very idea of Sony Pictures rebooting zombie film franchise “Resident Evil” so soon after the final chapter hit theaters is a bold move. The studio shared this image with anxious shambling fans. We know a little bit about this reboot, which pretty much only means the cast at this point. Donal Logue will be playing Brian Irons, Raccoon City’s Chief of…

Wen writes: I am forever thankful to Dallas Comic Con 2015 for putting my signing booth next to Carrie Fisher. When she arrived, I was so excited I announced her. I…

Legendary entertainer and controversial figure Michael Jackson owned a sprawling estate named Neverland Ranch. Chances are you’ve heard about it throughout the latter years of Jackson’s life, or from the 2019 devastating documentary, “Leaving Neverland.”Neverland Ranch, a 2,700-acre property near Santa Barbara, had been on the market since 2016, and had an unsurprising price tag of $100 million. The estate was finally just purchased, for a cool $22 million, by billionaire Ron Burkle. It’s worth noting that Jackson payed around $19.5 million when he purchased the property way back in 1987. Burkle was reportedly an associate of sorts of Jackson. He…

2020 has been a crazy 84 years, right? If the last several months haven’t been ridiculous enough, on Christmas Day, failed Presidential hopeful candidate (man, the face we made trying to write that) Kayne West just released a “surprise” Christmas album titled “Emmanuel.”There is so much to dissect in that sentence alone. Remember when West decided that trying to add his name to the actual Presidential ticket for the 2020 election was a viable idea? Yeah. That is totally a thing we have lived through. “Emmanuel” has five tracks, and is described as as “ancient and Latin inspired new music,” featuring…
