It’s been a minute since we heard anything about Matt Reeves’ upcoming “The Batman.” Starring Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight, this new take from Warner Bros. Pictures will be something entirely different. Reeves is apparently back in Los Angeles right now and hard at work in the editing bay. We’re assuming he’s cutting a new trailer for “The Batman,” which will more than likely be shown during FanDome next month! Back during DC’s FanDome in August of 2020, audiences were treated to several first looks and confirmations for “The Batman.” But, we’ve been WAITING for full-length trailer ever since.…

It is the legend. Denis Villeneuve’s highly anticipated reimagining of “Dune” has officially released. Okay true, only in select markets in Europe, but, it counts! After many years, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures’ new film, based on the iconic work of Frank Herbert, is here. And, one of the things we’ve been the most curious and anticipatory of- Hans Zimmer’s score. If you didn’t know, both Oscar-nominated filmmaker Villeneuve and multi Oscar-winner Zimmer, are some true “Dune” fanboys. So, you can understand why the release of the film’s soundtrack would be a day to celebrate. To mark the occasion, Zimmer shared…
After The CW tried (and failed) twice to adapt Joel Schumacher’s iconic 1987 vampire flick “The Lost Boys” into a series, sounds like a third attempt is on the way. This one is reportedly coming from Warner Bros. Pictures, and will be a film rather than a show. Jonathan Entwislte is currently set to direct, with Randy McKinnon tackling the script. We do know that Noah Jupe (“A Quiet Place”) and Jaeden Martell (“IT”) are already set to star. The original film starred Jason Patric, Kiefer Southerland, Diane Wiest, Edward Herrman, Alex Winter, Corey Haim, Corey Fieldman, and Jamie Gertz.…
William Lindsay Gresham’s 1946 novel “Nightmare Alley” is getting adapted into a new feature film by none other than Guillermo del Toro. The cast alone is pretty freaking amazing- Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett, Willem Dafoe, Toni Collette, Richard Jenkins, Ron Perlman, Rooney Mara, Holt McCallany, Clifton Collins Jr., Tim Blake Nelson, Mary Steenburgen, and David Strathairn. “In NIGHTMARE ALLEY, an ambitious carny (Cooper) with a talent for manipulating people with a few well-chosen words hooks up with a female psychiatrist (Blanchett) who is even more dangerous than he is.””Nightmare Alley” is set to hit theaters exclusively on December 17th, 2021. Check out…
Disneyland has made a pretty big change to Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin attraction in the Toon Town area. Those who have experienced the ride will no doubt recall the tableau of Jessica Rabbit, Roger’s wife, in the trunk of a car. She is seen tied up with thick rope, kicking her leg, while her Weasel captor looks on. It would appear as of September 14th, this animatronic of Jessica has been removed. According to The OC Register, Disney has confirmed a new backstory for Jessica in the ride is in the works.“Jessica Rabbit has determined it is past time…
Take a second and imagine picking up groceries in your very own DeLorean. Okay fine, maybe you already HAVE one or two *cough* Ernie Cline *cough*, but for the average person, the car is still a rarity. The vehicle reached true iconic status after being a key part of Robert Zemeckis’s “Back to the Future” as a time machine. Omaze is hosting a special opportunity for those who donate to a campaign to support the world-famous Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California. This experience raises funds for Charities Aid Foundation America (CAF America), a US-registered, 501(c)(3) public charity. 100%…
The comedy world is still reeling from the loss of Norm MacDonald, who had been fighting a very private battle with cancer for the last decade. McDonald, who rose to the forefront of popular culture while anchoring the “Saturday Night Live” Weekend Update segment for 3 years, was a well respected humorist and writer. MacDonald passed on September 14th, and reactions to the news were immediate from those in the comedy and entertainment industry. His influence was keenly felt by pretty much everyone who worked with him, including his longtime friend and collaborator, Bob Saget. Saget and MacDonald met as…
We are very not surprised that long running gameshow “Jeopardy!” has named Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings as intern hosts for the rest of 2021. If you’ll recall, beloved host Alex Trebek lost his battle with pancreatic cancer in November of 2020. While Trebek had recorded enough episodes to get the series into the new year, a new host needed to be selected. ABC opted for a rotating collection of guest hosts, most notable among them, at least from a public perspective, was LeVar Burton. A petition launched to get Burton to host, and gathered upwards of 287,000 signatures. He…
This is one of those lovely things we’re so happy to share. Gail Simone, celebrated comic book writer, influenced a pretty big change for DC Comics character Batgirl. If you’ll recall, Simone began writing for Barbara Gordon in 2011, and her run remains a favorite for collectors and fans. The classic character was announced as joining HBO Max series “Titans” back in January, along with a casting announcement. While this is more the Oracle timeline for Barbara, there’s more to the role than just her backstory, says actor Savannah Welch. During an interview with CinemaBlend, Welch spoke a bit about…
One of our favorite live-action films from Disney in the 80s has GOT to be “Flight of the Navigator.” It’s just one of those movies that captured our imaginations, and never really went away. It’s also one of the next titles the House of Mouse is looking to reboot/remake. In an exciting (and somewhat surprising) bit of news, Disney announced that Bryce Dallas Howard will be directing the reboot for release on Disney+. If you’ll recall, Howard has been working closely with the streaming service, having directed episodes of “Star Wars” series “The Mandalorian.” Her documentary “Dads,” which is adorable,…
