Author: Mary Anne Butler

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.

We have some bad news for fans of Netflix’s “Jupiter’s Legacy,” as it would appear the streaming giant as ‘released’ the cast from their contracts. If you’ll recall, back in 2017 Mark Millar signed a deal with the streaming giant for pretty much every single thing in his Millarworld collection. “Jupiter’s Legacy,” which was based on Millar’s comic book series of the same name, was the first of the Millarworld releases. Some are speculating this sudden release of the cast, since the show only debuted on May 7th, indicates poor reception. Netflix famously does not release their optics, so this could…

We’ve been waiting for more concrete evidence that the upcoming 5th installment of “Indiana Jones” was indeed ramping up filming in the UK this month, and here we are. There had been several ‘reports’ (c’mon, reddit isn’t exactly what we’d consider a completely accurate source) indicating that sets have been completed, and even a Harrison Ford sighting near Pinewood Studios. Deadline, who claims exclusive knowledge despite every UK outlet having the exact same info at this point, says the cameras will start rolling next…

Marvel Studios fans are anxiously awaiting any news about upcoming MCU titles, and perhaps none so much as “Thor Love and Thunder.” Reuniting Chris Hemsworth with filmmaker Taika Waititi, “Thor 4” is already shaping up to be insanely fun.
