Cutting trailers is an art form. Every so often, one comes along from an unlikely source that just blows us away. Another big announcement from today’s Silent Hill Transmission was news of a new Silent Hill movie. Assistant Producer Rui Naito revealed conversations with director Christophe Gans about another film is what prompted new games to be made. Gans was joined by producer Victor Hadida, and the pair showed LOTS of concept art from “Return to Silent Hill.” You can watch the teaser below:

After months of speculation and rumors, Konami’s “Silent Hill” franchise finally had big news to share. Teased earlier this week, the “Silent Hill” transmission came in the guise of a livestream, which just kicked off. One of the first bits of news? This just in-according to multiple online sources, Sacha Baron Cohen may be joining the MCU. These rumors (which they are until properly confirmed), indicate Cohen would be first appearing in Marvel Studios’ upcoming series, “Ironheart.” These rumors currently have Cohen (“Trial of the Chicago 7,” “Borat 2”) playing notable baddie Mephisto. The devilish character was first alluded to in “WandaVision,” and may play into the upcoming spinoff series, “Agatha: Coven of Chaos.” This could also mean Cohen might appear in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” first, as that film will introduce the character of Riri Williams, aka Ironheart. You know that thing which sometimes happens where one ‘outlet’ runs a rumor, and others pick it up as gospel? This is apparently the case with the recent hullabaloo about a possible “Twister” sequel. To be fair, this proposed return of the cinematic storm chasers has been spoken about for years. But, a recent ‘scoop’ claims “Prey” director Dan Trachtenberg was going to helm the project. There’s word James Gunn is already pitching another DC Comics film, but no one is sure what exactly it’s going to be. His turn as writer/director of “The Suicide Squad” was pretty damn successful, so perhaps it’s another of those. Gunn could also be looking to introduce another character (or set of characters) entirely to the DCEU. Some possibilities that have been tossed around include solo outings of various Suicide Squad members, the upcoming Booster Gold film, or even a relaunch of Swamp Thing. The third “Rocky” spinoff film, “Creed III,” has an official trailer and release date! This will also mark the directorial debut of star Michael B. Jordan, who again reprises his role as Adonis Creed. Marvel Studios fans may find it amusing that Jordan, who played Killmonger in “Black Panther,” will be facing Jonathan Majors, who played Kang in “Loki,” in this film. It’s been a strange start of the week for Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Comics-based films. Not necessarily bad, but for sure, different. This just in-it would appear Comcast has decided to cease any/all operations of gamer-focused network, G4. This is not the first time G4 has suffered a painful demise, but this one was pretty immediate. According to an email reportedly sent by Comcast CEO Dave Scott, this choice was due to the network’s low viewership.
