We almost started this piece by making some kind of stupid observation about how later films in sagas don’t usually get better. This just in-we know who will play the King of Pop in Antoine Fuqua’s upcoming biopic about the late Michael Jackson. It’s worth noting this film has the support of the Jackson family, something that really makes sense with the casting news. Jaafar Jackson, son of Jermaine Jackson and brother of Jermajesty Jackson, will play his uncle Michael. The much anticipated live-action series adaptation of popular manga/anime series “One Piece” will hit Netflix this year! After a pretty mixed reception for the “Cowboy Bebop” series, fans are nervous, to say the least. (We actually didn’t hate “Bebop,” and were very disappointed when Netflix cancelled it after just one season.) “One Piece” creator Eiichiro Oda has promised Netflix’s show will be “faithful to the fans who have supported One Piece for 20 years,” so hopefully that helps some.
