If you’ve been looking forward to new Mike Judge, Greg Daniels classics like “King of the Hill,” we’ve got some pretty good news for you! The revival/continuation of the popular FOX animated series is headed to Hulu for a 14th season. Seasons 1-13 will also be available to stream via Hulu.
Reportedly, the show’s original voice cast, sans the late Brittaney Murphy, are returning. So expect to hear Judge, Kathy Najimy, Stephen Root, Pamela Adlon, Johnny Hardwick, and Lauren Tom.

“I’m so lucky to have been a part of this show from the very beginning and couldn’t be more excited to visit Arlen, Texas, once again with Mike, Greg and Saladin, who together are bringing a whole new perspective to the original series,” Executive Vice President of 20th Television Animation Marci Proietto said. “We all want to thank the fans for their overwhelming support because they helped make this happen, and I can’t wait to share this new iteration through the lens of 2023 America. In the words of our beloved Peggy Hill: ‘Ho yeah!’”
“Yeah, man I tell you whot man, that dang Ol’ Greg, talking about ‘O.G.’ and then that Mike Judge … Inspirations, man … the original show, dang ol’ classic … Got my kids, man, walking around talking about ‘That’s my purse! I don’t know you!’ Feeling blessed, man, I tell you whot ‘Feel so Good’ is a great song, I don’t care what no-dang-body says…,” Saladin K. Patterson (“The Wonder Years” reboot) said.

No word on how the show will handle the character of Kahn Souphanousinphone, Hank Hill’s Laotian neighbor, who is voiced by Toby Huss of Iowa. (Huss also voices Hank’s father, Cotton Hill.) The Simpsons” made the decision to remove the longstanding character of Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, following controversy of the POC character being voiced by a non POC actor. Could we see “King of the Hill” do the same? Or instead, cast a Laotian actor to voice him (as “The Simpsons” did with many of their POC characters).
“We are all so excited to welcome back Hank, Peggy and Bobby, and to see what they have to say about the world we live in and continue the conversations we began years ago,” President of ABC Entertainment, Hulu and Disney Branded Television Streaming Originals Craig Erwich said. “This show has all of the perfect ingredients to meet this moment in animation at Hulu, and we’re so thankful to be having those conversations alongside this talented group.”
We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other news.
