This just in-Warner Bros. Pictures is apparently working on a live-action adaptation of the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon “The Jetsons.” Which on its own is interesting. But add in the actor in talks to star, and we’re actually kind of interested. Jim Carrey is reportedly in talks for the lead role, which we’re assuming will be George J. Jetson. Colin Trevorrow (“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”) is writing the script with Joe Esptein. Trevorrow is also being eyed to direct. This story is developing…

Disney+’s upcoming Marvel Studios series “Wonder Man” finally has a teaser! Shown during New York Comic-Con (NYCC), the series will follow Simon Williams (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) as he auditions for a role in a reboot of the classic in-universe “Wonder Man” movie. No word on a release date yet, but we’re assuming sometime in 2026. You can check out the first look below.

American treasure Dolly Parton has shared an update about her health amid ongoing speculation about how she’s actually doing. Parton’s husband, Carl Dean, passed away in March of this year, and there has been ongoing concern about Dolly’s wellbeing. Parton’s sister, Freida Parton, increased worries earlier this week with a fairly cryptic post asking for prayers for Dolly. This just in- the highly anticipated sequel to Michael Mann’s seminal work “Heat” is in the process of moving homes. Originally, “Heat 2,” which Mann has written and will reportedly direct, was set at Warner Bros. Pictures. But, according to the usual suspects, the project is now being eyed by Amazon MGM’s United Artists. ALSO, Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio is circling a starring role in the flick.  Jerry Bruckheimer and Scott Stuber are set to executive produce.We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other news. This just in- Disney-owned terrestrial television network ABC will allow “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to return as scheduled to the air on Tuesday, September 23rd. This decision comes after Kimmel’s show was pulled indefinitely last week. “Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country,” a spokesperson for the Walt Disney Company, which owns ABC, said in a statement to CNN. “It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive.
