Hey, remember when we told you “Doctor Who” is moving to Disney+? How exciting it was to know new episodes of the classic British sci-fi show would be more accessible to those of us without an HBO subscription? Well, it gets even better. Rather than simply acting as streaming home for new episodes, Disney has entered into a co-production deal with the BBC, looking to expand the show to a Hollywood level production, while still retaining the double-hearts of the series. This means while showrunner Russell T. Davies will retain the overall creative vision for the program, Disney will be…

Controversial Disney CEO Bob Chapek has picked a strange hill to make a stand on. Chapek decided to defend the Disney Park’s new reservation system, which many loyal customers aren’t a fan of. The system was first introduced when the parks reopened in summer 2020 in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Rather than being allowed to purchase a ticket that allows them free access to the parks, guests are required to make reservations for a specific day and specific Walt Disney World or Disneyland theme park. Guests must have valid theme park admission to make a reservation, and each…

Originally, the show was meant to be produced alongside another series about the inner workings of the Gotham City police department, with Terence Winter writing and executive producing. But after Winter and his later replacement, “Giri/Haji” creator Joe Barton, both clashed with Warner Bros.…

Following the departure of writer Seth Grahame-Smith, the new “Green Lantern” tv series being developed by Greg Berlanti for HBO Max will be undergoing some big changes. It was originally slated to star Jeremy Irvine (“Treadstone”) and Finn Wittrock (“Ratched”) as Alan Scott and Guy Gardner, respectively. Grahame-Smith had apparently written eight episodes focusing on these two Lanterns before his departure from the project. No word on possible recasting. Original producers of the show had not intended to include…

Just in time for Halloween, Bianca Henandez-Knight shared her AMAZING and creative silhouetted carved pumpkin. She also included detailed directions if you want to make your own. The end result is super cool, and perfect for a nerdy display from a galaxy far, far away. After picking up the pieces of your absolutely blown mind, the process is fairly intuitive, as the writer of the popular Bookhoarding blog explains. After gathering your (ideally “Star Wars” themed) supplies, mark out the design you want displayed on the front of the pumpkin. Make sure you don’t carve too deep into the pumpkin,…

He Who Shall Not Be Named actor Ralph Fiennes has once again defended JK Rowling’s transphobia, and characterized those calling her out as disgusting harassers. In an interview with The New York Times, Fiennes claimed Rowling has been subject to “verbal abuse” online. This “appalling” behavior stems from what Fiennes describes as “just a woman saying, ‘I’m a woman and I feel I’m a woman and I want to be able to say that I’m a woman.’” Fiennes, who has defended Rowling in the past, seems to have spectacularly misunderstood what Rowling’s position actually is and why people might object…
