It’s a difficult balance in journalism, wanting to discuss current and relevant topics while also trying to get headline worthy responses from their interviewees. This is even more tricky when you’re dealing with high profile actors and directors. These people consistently have to sit through hours upon hours of press junkets where pundits ask the same question over and over again. Naturally, they’re bound to lash out and occasionally provide some headline worthy soundbites. That’s all well and fine, and most reputable outlets manage this balance well. Except when it comes to the issue of superhero movies. There’s a lot…
I’m sure you’ve seen the commericals: an gigantic LG TV that somehow rolls away into itself. It’s the kind of sci-fi futuristic make believe technology we really didn’t think could ever exist. I’m sure there’s some logical explanation as to how a TV can roll into a giant base, but every time I see the commercial I just think…magic. It’s a wild technological advancement in entertainment, enough for me to go a look up what this thing actually is and how to own it. [Editor’s note: this isn’t an affiliate thing. We’re truly baffled by this tv, and it’s price.]…

It’s not the best, and doesn’t get everything right, but “Bruised” is one of the better MMA movies out there.
“Masters of the Universe” part 2 feels like a manufactured controversy, purposefully splitting a rather complete series into two parts for no other reason than to get people to talk about the show.
“Hawkeye” is exactly what the MCU needs right now, and exactly what WE need to find some sliver of joy during the holiday seasons.
“Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City” may have some script and pacing issues, but makes up for it with solid directorial execution and a clear desire to try and maintain the integrity of the game franchise.
“King Richard” is a wonderful movie going experience, one that you shouldn’t miss out on and I highly recommend.
Can we stop for a second and just stew with the fact that Delroy Lindo is BRITISH? I always knew that in concept, but he uses his native accent so scarcely I forget every single time it comes up. That doesn’t have anything to do with the latest casting announcement, but I had to get it out there for my own sanity. Regardless of origin or accent, the famed and beloved actor is officially joining the cast of the upcoming “Blade” revival from Marvel Studios. The still in development reboot will feature academy award winner Mahershala Ali as the titular…
