It seems the streaming juggernaut Netflix is on a war path. As they continue to be a premiere service in the streaming wars, they have continued to buy as many rights to projects as they possibly can. And they’ve done it again, as the rights to the 1970 famous 8 book series “Black Samurai” has been purchased by Netflix. The series was created and written by Marc Olden, who sadly passed away in 2003. He was nominated for an Edgar Award for his work, which centered around a black man named Robert Sand who learns the ways of the samurai…

There’s nothing quite like a nice, stiff drink to pair with the ending of an epic show like “The Walking Dead.” As the long running AMC flagship show comes to an end, the channel has partnered with The Sexton Single Malt to release a limited edition celebratory bottle to commemorate the show’s end. Cast member Ross Marquand, who plays Aaron on the show (and also played Stonekeeper Red Skull in “Avengers: Endgame”), is a whiskey aficionado, and will serve as the collaborative brand ambassador. You can find me in da….comic book movie? No stranger to film and television both in front of and behind the camera, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s G-Unit Film & Television production company has its sights set on a new comic book adaption. Hell, anyone who’s ever done a science project with 4 people knows full well that anything that can get crossed or go wrong typically does. Now multiply that by 100s of people all working on different parts of the same project, and it’s amazing that we ever get movies at all. Ahead of Pixar’s “Lightyear” releasing this June, the often forgotten “Toy Story 2” deletion fiasco…
