In 2013, period crime drama “Peaky Blinders” starring Oscar winner Cillian Murphy debuted, and quickly became a global phenomenon. The series is heading to the big screen with director Tom Harper’s “Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.” Streaming giant Netflix released the first teaser for the highly anticipated movie, that boasts a script by original series creator Steven Knight. Disney+’s “Percy Jackson & The Olympians” has just confirmed some very exciting casting announcements. Holt McCallany (“The Waterfront”) and David Costabile (“Hershey”) will be taking on recurring guest roles in season 3. Jesse L. Martin (“The Irrational”) will also be joining the cast in a guest role. The cast for James Gunn’s upcoming “Superman” sequel “Man of Tomorrow” is starting to take shape. Gunn has confirmed Lars Eidinger (“All the Light We Cannot See”) will play iconic DC Comics villain Brainiac.  “In our worldwide search for Brainiac in Man of Tomorrow, Lars Eidinger rose to the top. These new cameras have officially been named The IMAX Keighley in honor of David and Patricia Keighley.  David was IMAX’s first chief quality officer, who sadly passed away earlier this year. We have another exciting cast announcement from Amazon MGM’s live-action “Tomb Raider” series. Jason Isaacs (“The White Lotus”) has joined the cast! While his role at this time is unclear, he’ll be starring alongside Sophie Turner (“Game of Thrones”) as Lara Croft. As reported earlier this month, it seems that Sigourney Weaver is still in talks to star in another unspecified role. The plot of the series is currently being kept under wraps.
