On April 15th, 2019, a devastating fire broke out in the framework of Paris’ famed Notre Dame Cathedral. The spread of the blaze collapsed its iconic 19th-century spire, and damaged stained glass windows, paintings, and tapestries. In February, news broke of multi-Oscar winning director Sam Mendes (“1917”) making FOUR biopics about music legends The Beatles. Instead of one film focusing on the band, the projects will show their meteoric rise from the perspective of members John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr.
