The long-awaited film adaptation of popular horror video game “Five Nights at Freddy’s” has been rated PG-13 by the MPA. While the that rating has a bit of a stigma in the horror genre- considering the game seemed to resonate with a lot of younger players- this rating does make some sense.  “Five Nights at Freddy’s” has been slapped with the PG-13 due to “Strong violent content, bloody images and language.”  So basically we’ll get some bloodshed and swearing, but not so much that teens can’t see it. The team behind the upcoming “Cinderella’s Curse” is adding another classic fairy tale turned horror movie to its repertoire with “Sleeping Beauty’s Massacre.” This new film will be produced and directed by Louisa Warren (“Cinderella’s Curse”), with Jasmine Ebony Thomas (“Easter Bunny Massacre: The Bloody Trail”) writing the script. This will add yet another film to the ever-growing fairy tale horror movie subgenre. In 2019, adult swim announced plans to adapt Junji Ito’s supernatural horror manga “Uzumaki” into a mini-series. But there hasn’t been much movement on it, aside from last year when the company said the series would be delayed. Now, they have unveiled the series first trailer at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC)! For the first time since 2011 music streaming service Spotify is increasing the prices on all its premium membership plans. The company will be raising the price of its standard Premium plan by $1, making it $10.99 a month. As far as Spotify’s other plans go, Premium Duo plans will be going up by $2, putting it at $14.99 per month. Family plans will be raised by $1, bringing it to $16.99 a month. Actor, comedian, and singer Jamie Foxx has broken his silence about his recent “medical complication.” While Foxx will not say what exactly is going on with him health-wise, it is severe enough to land him in the hospital back in April. Twitter owner Elon Musk is saying bye, bye birdie to the platform’s famous logo with a complete rebranding. 20th Century Studios has released a new trailer for its upcoming crime drama “A Haunting in Venice.” This will be the first feature film adaptation of the 1969 novel “Hallowe’en Party.” It is the third film in Sir Kenneth Branagh’s Agatha Christie series.  “A Haunting in Venice” is written by Michael Green, with Branagh directing as well as starring. Game show legend Vanna White has signed a new deal with ABC to continue to host “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune,” with a rumored significant increase in her salary.
