Directing team Radio Silence is set to tackle the reboot of John Carpenter’s “Escape From New York” for 20th Century Studios. For the 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, Alanis Morissette was paired to do a duet of “You’re So Vain” with Olivia Rodrigo. Producer Jason Blum’s Blumhouse label is in talks to merge with horror director James Wan’s company Atomic Monster. While Blumhouse built a name with lower-budget films they are currently under a first-look deal with Universal. If the merger goes through, this deal would also extend to Wan’s Atomic Monster. His company just concluded their first look deal with Warner Bros. Pictures over the summer. Apparently, Jonathan Davis’ dog clothing line Freak on a Leash wasn’t keeping him busy enough. Davis, James “Munky” Shaffer, Brian “Head” Welch, and Ray Luzier of pioneer NuMetal band Korn have collaborated with Heatonist on a new hot sauce, Here to Slay, a play on their hit song, “Here to Stay.” According to Heatonist, the band reached out to them about creating the condiment. Both brands wanted to pay homage to the Korn’s roots in Bakersfield, California. After an 18-year hiatus, Disney is finally revisiting “The Princess Diaries.” Writer Aadrita Mukerji (“Reacher”) is already attached to tackle the script. This third installment will be a continuation, not a reboot, of the first two films. Both of the original films were directed by Garry Marshall and starred Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews. An underground tunnel has been found at Taposiris Magna in Egypt. Which is, ominously, a temple dedicated to Osiris, the god of death. The 6.5-foot-tall, 4,300-foot-long was found 43 feet underground by archaeologist Kathleen Martinez. In addition to the tunnel that sits west of the ancient city of Alexandria, she also unearthed two Ptolemaic-era alabaster statues and several ceramic vessels/pots. Which may or may not be part of the mystery of Queen Cleopatra’s final resting place. The tunnel was described as a “geometric miracle” by The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in a statement. The tunnel is “an exact…
