An original factory-sealed iPhone just sold at auction for $63,356.40. Thats more than 100 times what it sold for back in 2007, when it first hit the market. The phone’s owner, Karen Green, got it as a gift from her friends to celebrate her becoming a manager at PetSmart. The thing is, she already had three phone lines through Verizon, and at the time, Apple’s iPhone was exclusive to AT&T. So since switching phone plans is a hassle and the termination fees would have been outrageous. She instead elected to put the unopened and unused iPhone on the shelf. She wrapped…

Washington D.C.’s Katsucon anime fan convention just took place, February 17th-19th. And like any Monday after a convention, social media is a buzz with cool outfits and cosplays. Ash custom-designed the printed cotton fabric to look exactly like a giant receipt from the drugstore chain. …

The alligator was pretty lucky it was found when it was, because it is in pretty rough shape. Officials say it is “very lethargic and possibly cold shocked.” Because these animals are used to significantly warmer climates…
In January, “M3GAN” writer Akela Cooper cruelly teased horror fans by saying there was a much gorier cut of the film. As well as getting a physical release on Blu-ray and DVD in late March. “M3GAN” hit theaters on January 6th and apparently had to be cut down for a PG-13. “No shade to Universal, love them, and I understand that once the trailer went viral, teenagers got involved and you want them to be able to see it,” Cooper…
On February 15th, a Tesla factory in Buffalo, New York sent out an e-mail informing employees that they could no longer record workplace meetings without all participants’ permission. Also, New York has a one-party consent law to record conversations. Making recording work meetings, without everyone agreeing to it, perfectly legal. And after that, several employees just so happen to be fired. “We’re angry. This won’t…
